Sitel is expanding its customer care call center in Amarillo, Texas and will hire 100 employees for this facility. New agents at the Texas call center will support an expanding global satellite TV client by providing inbound technical care support and solutions.
Sitel delivers outsourced customer care services, and has twice been ranked as the top overall call center outsourcing provider in Datamonitor's annual Black Book of Outsourcing survey.
“We continue to create deeper relationships with our clients, through better processes, cutting edge technology, and outstanding performance from our people,” said Mike Thompson, site director of Sitel's Amarillo facility.
Those interested to work for these positions can attend an onsite job fair at Sitel, located at 4945 Canyon Drive, on Monday, August 20, 2012.
Sitel has joined hands with Texas Workforce Solutions to recruit new employees, and is encouraging prospective applicants to come down and learn more about the position openings from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

"As we strive to mean more to our clients, the recent expansion within the Amarillo call center is a direct result of our commitment to meet their objectives in terms of providing outstanding customer service. These positions will begin as soon as the first week of September," said Mike Thompson, site director of Sitel's Amarillo facility.
Sitel prefers to hire agents with previous customer service experience and strong computer knowledge.
Sitel was in news in June for announcing the opening of a new call center in Eton, Manila, Philippines.
